How can you tell we’ve won?

Answer, the Democrats move the goalposts. Now winning the war in Iraq is not enough. We have to have a perfect democracy to be an acceptable result. Of course, Kosovo is different.

UPDATE: Michael O’Hanlon suggests a change of course in Iraq for the Democrats. I don’t think they are smart enough to take his advice.

You can’t possibly be surprised by that, Dr. K.!

You know, SLATE e-magazine has this whole series of “Bush-isms,” things that GWB says that are, to put it mildly, noneuphonious. But I wonder how a series of flip-flop statements on the Iraq War by members of Congress would go over?

Not as interesting as GWB mangling the English language, I guess.

In other news, the Senate will do some voting on Global Warming tomorrow.
