Another restoration story

This is the story of the restoration of a classic wooden yacht. Fiberglass is easier as the hull is almost always sound. Still, restorations of old yachts are heartwarming stories for those of us who love messing around in boats.

The first sailboat I was ever in was an old homebuilt 17-foot jobber with a centerboard. It felt a lot better under me than the fiberglass Lido I eventually got. Fiberglass just seems to bounce and flop around a lot.
