Christmas Day

Merry Christmas to anyone reading this today. Winston and I are spending a quiet day and will go to my first wife’s house for dinner. Grandkids and most of my children will be there. Southern California has been cool and rainy this week. Today, it is supposed to rain again later in the day. Last year, I was still at Lake Arrowhead but that house is sold and I am back at sea level.

I hope everyone has a peaceful day and a pleasant evening.

Well I hope you enjoyed your time in the mountains. From the desert, to the mountains, and now back to the sea, or nearby, I presume. Now you can enjoy watching sailboats again. Thanks for your time spent on this blog. I enjoy your analysis & experiences. By the way, I grew up less than 10 miles from that VA Hospital in Westwood. Happy New Year Mike!

I haven’t visited your blog in some time, Mike. Are you back in Orange County now?

I really liked the pieces about Calvin Coolidge earlier this year.

    Happy New Year!

  3. Thanks. I loved the mountains but discovered even that modest altitude was more than my lungs could handle. I’d rather be sitting on my Cal 40 in Puerta Vallarta. Worse luck !
