Nancy Pelosi has blocked the Columbia Free Trade Agreement from coming to a vote in Congress. This kills it for the year in spite of the fact that it was signed several years ago, then renogotiated to satisfy Democrat complaints. Here is a Washington Post interview with the president of Columbia. Maybe Nancy Pelosi should read it.
Eveyone knows this is an election year kabuki dance that Democrats must perform to satisfy dinosaur trade unions that, having killed off the US auto industry, is now after the rest of our export based economy. Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager, Mark Penn is the latest victim. This is insanity but Democrat politics has its own internal rhythm that does not require logic.

The desire of the Democratic Party to appease their constituents has always superseded political and economic reality. This country will be facing dark days if that party ever gains full control over the federal government.
Racketeer influenced, corrupt organization…that describes the Democrats. Don’t we have a body of laws we could use here, and make the world a better place?

I can’t stand Pelosi. Remember, she is the one who natters on endlessly about the rights of union workers, but on her husband’s winery business….not so much.
If you are a wine drinker, look up her connection to a particular winery. Then do what I do: don’t buy wine from hypocrites.
Good point about the winery. That we don’t here more about it is partly a reflection on who wants who in power.
