A sad day for freedom

UPDATE: It may not be as bad as it first seemed. Zelaya has to be approved by the Congress that booted him out so maybe little Honduras outsmarted the Obama people.

Well, it seems Obama and his cronies have forced Honduras to back down and allow the nutcase Zelaya back into a power sharing arrangement in Honduras. This is disgusting but one more example of the radical leftist inclinations of this president. I have previously posted on this topic and am still puzzled by Obama’s attraction to this crazy man.

Maybe the real friends of Honduras can figure out Obama’s angle. There has to be one. There is no sane person who thinks this is good for Honduras.

One reason comes to mind as an inveterate skeptic…I suggest money. Works most every time with politicians. And make no mistake, even the Hondurans we bravoed with gusto are still politicians. And from the same party as Zelaya do not forget. Not that some of the money did not get promised to the military honchos. On the plus side, if what we hear from the people who are actually in the country is true, then the next election will see the ‘good’ politicians going on with business as usual with the lukewarm blessing of the UN suits.

  2. I wish I was that optimistic. Zelaya is such a nut.

Regarding Mel’s return to president of Honduras:
Point is, not only is the whole world watching, but, there are a
ton of moderates hoping that Mel doesn’t say anything stupid. Obama didn’t just
    send
these guys down here to negotiate, he sent them down here to finish the whole
story in one weekend. Seems he gave them the ammunition to
    finish the job.
